Mana O Ka Lāhui was founded with the vision of preserving, celebrating, and sharing the rich cultures and traditions of Pacific Island communities while strengthening connections across generations.
As Pacific Island communities continue to grow throughout the mainland United States, many families face the challenge of staying connected to their cultural heritage. Mana O Ka Lāhui was created to help bridge that gap by providing opportunities for cultural education, community engagement, and intergenerational learning.
Based in Las Vegas, Nevada, our organization works to create welcoming spaces where cultural traditions are honored, knowledge is shared, and community bonds are strengthened.
Through workshops, cultural programs, and community events, Mana O Ka Lāhui strives to ensure that the traditions, values, and stories of Pacific Island cultures continue to thrive for generations to come.
Mana O Ka Lāhui was founded by Sunny Concepcion, whose passion for preserving Pacific Island cultures and traditions inspired the creation of the organization.
Born and raised in Hawai‘i, Sunny grew up surrounded by strong cultural traditions and community connections. After moving to Las Vegas, she recognized the importance of creating spaces where Pacific Island communities could continue to celebrate their heritage and share cultural knowledge with future generations.
Through Mana O Ka Lāhui, Sunny is committed to building programs and community initiatives that educate, inspire, and empower others to stay connected to their roots while strengthening cultural pride and unity within the community.
Mana O Ka Lāhui is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to educating, inspiring, and empowering our community through the preservation and sharing of the cultures, values, and traditions of Pacific Islanders and other Indigenous peoples.
We strive to create a welcoming space where cultural knowledge is passed down, identity is strengthened, and unity thrives across generations. Through education, cultural exchange, and community programs, we honor our ancestors, celebrate our heritage, and help build a stronger, more connected future for all.
Our vision is to build a thriving community where Hawaiian, Polynesian, and Indigenous cultures are celebrated, respected, and preserved for future generations — strengthening identity, unity, and cultural pride for all.
