Mana O Ka Lāhui strengthens communities by preserving and sharing the cultural traditions, knowledge, and values of Pacific Island and Indigenous peoples.
Through educational programs, cultural workshops, and community events, we create opportunities for individuals and families to connect with their heritage, celebrate identity, and build stronger relationships within the community.
Our work ensures that cultural traditions are not only remembered, but actively practiced and shared with future generations.
Pacific Island communities continue to grow across the mainland United States, including in Las Vegas and throughout Southern Nevada. As communities grow and generations become further removed from their ancestral homelands, there is an increasing need for spaces that support cultural learning and connection.
Mana O Ka Lāhui helps fill that need by creating opportunities for cultural education, community engagement, and intergenerational learning.
Our programs help individuals reconnect with their heritage while also fostering cultural understanding among the broader community.
Mana O Ka Lāhui primarily serves Pacific Islander communities in Las Vegas and Southern Nevada while welcoming individuals and families from all backgrounds who are interested in learning about and celebrating Pacific Island cultures.
Our programs aim to strengthen cultural identity, increase community pride, and promote unity through shared cultural experiences.
Mana O Ka Lāhui is committed to expanding its impact through new programs, partnerships, and educational initiatives.
Future goals include:
• expanding youth cultural education programs
• hosting larger community cultural events
• developing partnerships with schools and community organizations
• increasing access to cultural learning opportunities
Through these efforts, we aim to build a stronger, more connected community while honoring the traditions and values that guide us.
