Why Our Work Matters

Pacific Island communities continue to grow across the mainland United States, including in Las Vegas and throughout Southern Nevada. As communities grow and generations become further removed from their ancestral homelands, there is an increasing need for spaces that support cultural learning and connection.

Mana O Ka Lāhui helps fill that need by creating opportunities for cultural education, community engagement, and intergenerational learning.

Our programs help individuals reconnect with their heritage while also fostering cultural understanding among the broader community.

Mana O Ka Lāhui primarily serves Pacific Islander communities in Las Vegas and Southern Nevada while welcoming individuals and families from all backgrounds who are interested in learning about and celebrating Pacific Island cultures. 

Our programs aim to strengthen cultural identity, increase community pride, and promote unity through shared cultural experiences.
