Håfa Adai! My name is Marie Quichocho, and I’m proud to be Chamorro and Filipino, originally from the island of Guam. My father’s Air Force career took our family around the world before we settled in Las Vegas in the early 1990s.
I’m a proud mother of two college-age sons—one attends UNLV and the other studies at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. I’ve worked as an independent hairstylist for over 13 years and now serve as a cosmetology instructor, helping students build their skills and confidence.
Recently, I had the joy of returning to Guam and the Philippines with my sons so they could experience their culture and roots firsthand.
I’m honored to be part of Mana O Ka Lāhui and excited to help strengthen our community through culture, connection, and education.
