Aloha! My name is Renee Suda. I was born in Vietnam and raised in Hawai‘i from the age of two, surrounded by the islands’ natural beauty and cultural diversity. Growing up in such a rich environment taught me the importance of respecting the land and people who call Hawai‘i home.
My early education included cultural experiences like field trips to historic sites and summer sessions at Kamehameha Schools, where I was introduced to Hawaiian values, language, and traditions. Those lessons shaped my lifelong appreciation for Polynesian culture and continue to guide my work today.
Now living in Nevada, I run a small home-based crafting business that creates meaningful keepsakes—from crochet and custom candles to jewelry and forever leis. Each piece reflects my love for culture, creativity, and authenticity.
As Treasurer of Mana O Ka Lāhui, I’m proud to support our mission of preserving and sharing the cultures of Pacific Islanders and other Indigenous peoples through education, art, and community events that uplift and unite us all.
